John Lame

Board Member

John Lame founded Lenox Wealth Management in 2004, overseeing the transformation of the former Lenox Savings & Loan to a Fee-Only Investment Advisory firm. In addition to serving his diverse clientele, John is Lenox’s Chief Executive Officer, directing the management and operations of the company. He developed the Lenox business model for serving our clients’ financial planning, wealth management, and family office needs.

John began his business career with Procter & Gamble in 1979 and spent twelve years in Finance roles, including Finance Manager, Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Cost Analyst. In 1991, John joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Consultant, specializing in working with high net worth individuals and their families. In 1997, John and his team affiliated with J.C. Bradford & Co., where he was named Partner. When J.C. Bradford was acquired by UBS Paine Webber, John was named Senior Vice President. John received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1995.

John graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in Business Administration and received a Masters in Business Administration from Xavier University. Currently, he is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and was an Instructor of Financial Planning and Investments at The University of Cincinnati’s Institute for Learning in Retirement. John is active in the greater Cincinnati community and is a member of the Foundation Board for Ursuline Academy of Cincinnati. John formerly served on the Board of Trustees of various committees for the Cincinnati chapter of The March of Dimes, Cincinnati United Way, Association for Retarded Persons, Christ the King Church and Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity Housing Association.

John and his wife, Susie, are both native Cincinnatians. They have four children: Anne, Katie, Libby, and Jay. John’s father, Charles Lame, and daughter, Anne Lame, were also employees of Procter & Gamble. The Lames are residents of Hyde Park.
